My style is eclectic, inspired by both the natural environment, and the man made structures and materials around me.
Visually, I am interested in colour and texture, using a variety of materials and techniques to bring these into my designs.
I work predominantly in silver, usually in combination with other materials as a feature.
I adore the reactive metals, titanium and niobium. Through processes involving high temperatures or electrical current, these give a range of striking colours. Kiln fired enamels are another favourite choice.
I often use non traditional materials, including found and recycled or repurposed objects in combination with metal. These open up whole new worlds for creative exploration and play.
The materials influence my design process, sometimes leading to the creation of quirky, humorous pieces.
