Hannah Jago
Since living in the East Kimberley of North Western Australia as a child, Hannah has been inspired by landscape, remote locations, rich organic colours and the wonders of Western Australia’s unique flora. Hannah has a love of natural and found objects from local environments.
Hannah’s passion for working with natural materials such as W.A. Sandalwood and silver, explore a sense of history, time, place and belonging. The wood gives an all round sensory experience, as she enjoys the therapeutic properties and natural aromas.
As a seventh generation West Australian, she feels a real connectedness working with sandalwood, which echoes a sense of memory. Hannah is an emerging jewellery designer and creates jewellery and objects, which are unique.
