Jacquie studied at Claremont School of Art (Diploma) and Western Australian Institute of Technology, now Curtin University (BA) worked at Curtin University as Technician and Tutor, and Fremantle Arts Centre as teacher and Gallery Shop Manager.
Exhibited nationally and internationally.
I now work predominantly in enamels as I love the use of colour on metal, making small series of works for exhibitions.
I like to work from natural sources firstly making drawings, then working from these drawings to design finished pieces. I often use copper as the base metal for the richness it gives, or fine silver as the base for gentler colours, adding gold and silver foils with the enamel and setting in silver.
Though I make different jewellery pieces, I have a preference for brooches, as each one is like a small painting or artwork, complete in itself.
