19th Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia national biennial conference. Presented in Walyalup/Fremantle by the Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia - Western Australia 5th October 2024
Our conference theme “Involution: Making Jewellery, Creating Change” has resonated with creatives, curators and scholars from around the country, as well as around the world. We have carefully crafted a lineup of unique and unexpected voices from diverse areas of our field. Through the workshops, presentations, and tours we are deepening skill, developing practice, and witnessing the current state and the future trajectory of our field. Amongst it all, we will also hold space to engage and celebrate with one another, as colleagues, as friends.
Our conference takes place at The WA Maritime Museum in Walyalup/Fremantle, located by the water in this iconic port town. With excellent access to public transport, providing a convenient connection to Subiaco and Perth CBD, where our major exhibitions will be on display.
THE SCHEDULE INCLUDES:
